Normally there is a prohibition of navigation for motor boats with combustion engines on the Dümmer.
We have received a generous exemption for the week of the championship and the training preweek from the district of Diepholz
This permit contains specifications for the navigation and the equipment of the boats. I would like to point out that these must be strictly adhered to.
We therefore need an application in advance for each boat, in which the two sheets “Beschreibung und Betriebssicherheitsnachweis” are to be filled in completely. Please send these to Please hand these in to manage2sail at the time of registration.
You will receive the identification for the boat mentioned therein at the race office of the SVH.
We charge € 100 per boat per week, payable in cash at registration.
Boats will be stored in the South Basin (please follow instructions). The boats can easily be brought into the water by our crane or via a slipway (south basin only).
The following conditions must be met in order to be allowed to sail on the Dümmer with a motorboat
- Engine with no more than 60 hp power
- Engine must comply with the requirements of the Lake Constance Shipping Regulations
- Towline on board
- Paddle an Bord
